In Kharkov hospitals, cancer patients are going to be treated with classical music
On November 30, in the hall of the Kharkov National University of Arts named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky, the project “Music against cancer” started. The musicians performed works by famous composers.

“This action is aimed at proving that cancer is not a death sentence. We also want to break down the barrier between a healthy person and a person with cancer. Medicine and music will help us with this,” said Denis Skory, who is the director of the Regional Oncology Center.
According to him, the project was created in order to provide social and psychological assistance to people who suffer from cancer. The organizers of this project will study music therapy in order to understand what kind of music can most effectively help and support people with cancer.
