In Ivano-Frankivsk, a street was renamed in honor of the student who died on the Maidan
Ivano-Frankovsk, March 12 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – In Ivano-Frankovsk, Proektnaya Street was renamed into the street named after Roman Gurik, who shielded a female medical volunteer from a bullet on the Maidan.
This was reported by the press service of the city council.

“In order to honor the memory of the fallen Heroes of Ukraine, it was decided to rename Proektnaya Street to the street named after Roman Gurik, a nineteen-year-old young man, student of the Carpathian University V. Stefanyk, who died on the Maidan in Kyiv,” it says.
They also decided to name the square in front of the regional state administration in honor of the fallen Maidan protesters “Square of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.”
A street in Ivano-Frankivsk has been renamed in honor of a student killed on the Maidan.
