The DPR is confident that on the eve of the prisoner exchange one can expect anything from Kyiv
Ukraine has long established itself as a party incapable of peaceful resolution of the conflict, and therefore there is a high probability that on the eve of the long-awaited prisoner exchange, something could go wrong.

This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by DPR National Assembly deputy Miroslav Rudenko.
In his opinion, the fact that the Minsk agreements on the exchange of prisoners have changed repeatedly is caused by the inconsistent policy of Kyiv.
“There are quite a lot of poles of power that influence decision-making - from foreign curators, to the interests of local oligarchs of various types, as well as the “war party” - those who are trying to rock the Maidan. Then, there is also the line of Poroshenko, who has taken over the entire Ukrainian economy. In addition, there was also a “multi-vector policy,” which Kuchma was very proud of at one time. Now we see that the policy is a dead end, one might say “multi-vector”. As a result, Ukraine’s line of behavior is shaking like a weather vane. This is the first aspect,” he said.
The second factor, according to Miroslav Rudenko, in this matter is the very reluctance to normally follow the humanitarian track of the Minsk agreements on the exchange of prisoners. He emphasized that in Kyiv they are trying to complicate this process in every possible way, putting forward additional conditions, which can be seen as an intention to sabotage the Minsk process. Taking into account previous experience and the fact that all issues were discussed at the highest level (for example, the November exchange of views between the President of the Russian Federation and the heads of the Donbass republics), after this there were several attempts at sabotage on the part of Ukraine.
“A week ago they couldn’t agree, and two weeks ago the Ukrainian side put forward additional demands. Given this, I still hope that the exchange will take place this Wednesday, and our militias, our political prisoners who are illegally held by Ukraine, will return home. But, of course, I don’t have XNUMX% confidence. Due to the multi-vector nature of Ukraine’s politics, due to the fact that one politician says one thing, another does another, it is not clear who makes decisions there. This, in principle, is an indicator of the crisis of statehood, which is becoming more and more large-scale, more and more systemic, and covers all areas of government. Taking into account this feature of the current post-Maidan Ukraine, one can expect anything from Kyiv, even on the eve of an agreed exchange. But let’s hope that this initiative will be implemented and our guys will return home,” concluded Miroslav Rudenko.
The DPR is confident that anything can be expected from Kiev on the eve of the prisoner exchange.
