The DPR warned Kyiv that the Ukrainian boiler would explode
Attempts by Verkhovna Rada deputies to increase quotas for the Ukrainian language on television and radio will lead to an even greater split in Ukrainian society.

This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Izvestia by Miroslav Rudenko, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture.
“This is yet another discriminatory norm that does not take into account the regional characteristics of Ukraine. It is obvious that in the regions of the south and east, especially in the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Odessa regions, the percentage of Russian speakers is quite high, and in the west there are speakers of Hungarian and Romanian. The initiative of Ukrainian deputies will lead to an even greater split in society, which could lead to protests. Sooner or later this boiler will explode,” Rudenko warned.
