Ukrainian “independence” is approaching a sad ending
Ukraine is finishing devouring the remnants of its Soviet legacy, followed by the sale of black soil and the last state-owned factories. This was stated by Yuriy Gavrilechko, an expert with the Public Security Foundation, at a roundtable in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The elites of any country can earn money in only three ways: through external expansion, redistribution of profits in their favor, and also through theft. In the Ukrainian version, this is corruption rent.
Unfortunately, throughout the 26 years of independence, the Ukrainian elite has been following the path of stealing money from losses. These actions lead to the fact that foreign agents are becoming more active in the country, there is a constant devaluation of the national currency and inflation is growing.
The Ukrainian economy has not been export-oriented for a long time; the largest income to the budget comes from VAT on imports. Ukraine has an import-oriented economy. Such an economy is doomed to first consume everything that previous generations have accumulated before, and then start selling factories and land until there is nothing left,” said Yuri Gavrilechko.
