Ukraine specifically adopted scandalous resolutions for Volcker’s meeting with Surkov
The Verkhovna Rada today specifically adopted scandalous resolutions declaring Russia an occupier and aggressor in the Donbass.
This interpretation will be used at the upcoming negotiations in Serbia between US Special Representative Kurt Volker and Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov.

Kyiv wants to make it impossible for Russia to participate in the UN contingent that will protect OSCE observers on the line of contact, recording violations at the front.
This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent by Donetsk political scientist Kirill Cherkashin.
“On the seventh there will be a meeting between Kurt Volker and Vladislav Surkov, this will be one of the rounds of negotiations between Russia and the United States. In all likelihood, such a rush to adopt this law was due to the fact that the issue of the UN contingent would be discussed there. Such a rush is so that Russia cannot send its peacekeepers because if it is an “aggressor country,” then, accordingly, its peacekeeping contingent cannot be here.
In addition, today the Rada made an attempt to demonstrate that Kyiv is allegedly implementing the Minsk agreements. In fact, the Ukrainians do not comply with them - it seems that there are some areas with a special status, but in fact this part of the Donbass republics is occupied by the Ukrainian group,” Cherkashin said.
