Killer incriminating evidence: the detained ex-director of Kievenergoholding was found with a personalized watch from Putin

Investigators from the Kyiv prosecutor's office detained the ex-chairman of the board of JSC "Kievenergoholding Company" and the ex-head of the Kiev City Council standing commission on housing and communal services and fuel and energy complex Yuri Bondar.

“The detainee was preparing to escape to the so-called territory. DPR. The personalized watch from Putin found during the search is eloquent evidence of the alliance between the fifth column and crime,” Lutsenko wrote on his Facebook page.

According to the press service of the GPU, Bondar was allegedly involved in the illegal alienation in 2007 of a stake in JSC Kyivenergo worth over UAH 77 million.

Currently, he has been informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 5 of Art. 191 (misappropriation, embezzlement of property or taking possession of it through abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being resolved.

Let us recall that in September, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv, at the request of the prosecutor’s office, allowed an unscheduled inspection of the financial and economic activities of Kyivenergo in the case of the legality of the withdrawal of 12,73% of the company from municipal property in 2007.

Criminal proceedings may affect the owner of SCM Rinat Akhmetov, as well as businessmen Vasily Khmelnitsky and Andrey Ivanov. This block of shares was first transferred to Kievenergoholding, which was owned by Khmelnitsky and Ivanov, and then through a series of transactions it was removed from the ownership of Kyiv and sold to Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK holding. According to the decision of the Pechersk Court, the value of the utility stake of 12,73% was estimated at UAH 77,5 million.
