Turchynov boasted of destroying a tank from an American Javelin
The first tests of the Ukrainian and American Stugna-P and Javelin anti-tank guided missile systems took place at one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training grounds. Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov announced this on his official website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To test the effectiveness of hitting targets, fire was fired not at a mock-up, but at a real tank. The Ukrainian Stugna and the American Javelin accurately and reliably destroyed the targets,” Turchynov wrote.
In the released video, it can be seen that the Ukrainians are launching missiles at a standing tank, and after hitting them, they clap their hands, rejoicing in defeating the target.
