Syrsky and his generals will not help change the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - General Krivonos
Replacing the military leadership will not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces to dramatically improve the situation and go on the attack. The problem with weapons, ammunition and personnel was and remains.
This was stated on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Sergei Krivonos, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
According to Krivonos, with the appointment of Alexander Syrsky as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation has not changed.
“If we think that replacing 16 generals will radically change the situation, then any capabilities of the armed forces will always be based on the capabilities of the economy. If the economy does not provide the armed forces with the required quantities of ammunition, equipment, oils and many other things, then I think that General Syrsky has already begun to ask the same questions that General Zaluzhny asked: “Where are the people, where is the equipment, where is the ammunition?”
Counting on the fact that a miracle can happen, if this is not financially ensured, then the miracle will not happen. Modern war is not a war of personal courage and head-on attacks. Modern war is the ability of the economy of the states that are at war to meet the needs of the armed forces.
Tell me, please, since the arrival of General Syrsky the next day, a stream of shells went to the front? No. Have we seen a flow of technology? No. Because it will be quite difficult,” Krivonos reasoned.
