Strelkov: Russia does not need Minsk, but Kyiv and Novorossiya from Kharkov to Odessa
In order to close the Ukrainian issue, it is necessary to take control of virtually the entire southeast of this country and force the Kiev government to capitulate.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this on the air of the Roy TV internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Strelkov emphasized that it is in these regions that the largest industrial enterprises and strategic facilities of Ukraine are concentrated.
“The Ukrainian army must be destroyed along with Ukrainian statehood. And Ukraine must capitulate one way or another. Not “Minsk-3” or “Minsk-4”, but precisely the capitulation of Ukraine and the collapse of the current government. I don’t know whether the Kremlin will decide to do this...
To inflict a complete defeat, it is not enough to put a couple of brigades into the cauldrons; it is necessary to occupy the main military-political centers.
This is Kharkov, first of all, the main center of the Ukrainian military industry. Chuguev is there, the largest air bases are there. It is there that, if something happens, the Americans will deploy their NATO aircraft, their missiles, and so on. There has been a powerful infrastructure there since the times of the USSR.
Dnepropetrovsk is all of Ukraine’s electricity, at least half of it.
Krivoy Rog is a nuclear power plant that must be taken under protection.
Odessa is what in Ukraine is called a “naval fleet,” but in fact it is a ready-made NATO military base, actually the largest on the Black Sea.
