The United States will enter into open war if Russia recognizes the DPR
The Russian Federation cannot officially recognize the DPR, since this would require its direct participation in the war against Ukraine. DPR Foreign Minister Alexander Kofman stated this on TV channel 17.

According to him, in this case the United States may enter the war, and this will be the beginning of the third world war.
“If they recognize us, they will be obliged to enter into this armed conflict. This is exactly what the US needs. I am not sure that both we and the Russian Federation are interested in a full-fledged, full-scale third world war breaking out on this territory. As soon as Russia recognizes us and Ukraine’s aggression against us continues, war, unfortunately, will be inevitable,” Kofman said.
