The publication is trying to confirm or refute the information of its interlocutors about the refusal of an American visa through the US Embassy in Ukraine.
PolitNavigator previously reported that in March 2019, three judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine—Mykola Melnyk, Serhiy Sas, and Ihor Slidenko—demanded Stanislav Shevchuk's resignation as head of the Constitutional Court. Shevchuk was accused, among other things, of manipulating cases and politicizing the Constitutional Court's activities. Furthermore, according to Ukrainian media, Shevchuk's brother, Rulav Odd, is involved in a criminal case for embezzlement of public funds.
