Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Recruitment for the patrol service is underway in Kyiv. The Ministry of Internal Affairs claims thousands of applicants and strict selection.

According to the journalist, there were not many girls at the testing, although Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Eka Zguladze announced a stir among the fairer sex. Among those wishing to enroll are students, the unemployed, and firefighters who want to receive “a tactical uniform and six thousand hryvnia from the start.”
In a classroom with computers and paper for calculations, everyone was given a password for the test, which consists of five blocks: analogies, logic, words, sentences and mathematics. Each contains 12 questions. They gave us 90 minutes to decide. “The last one was the most difficult. In it I had to solve equations, calculate the arithmetic mean, calculate percentages and multiply without a calculator,” the journalist shared his impressions.
In the “Sentences” block, everything turned out to be as simple as shelling pears: they asked to find the missing words so that the sentence retained its meaning. Next, it was necessary to determine that the dog is a mammal and not a fish, and how many degrees the clock hand shows when it is 16:00.
Then came the logic problems. For example, about girls and the length of their hair: “All the long-haired girls work as cashiers at the bank. There are no banks in a large city, so it turns out that...” Next, you had to choose the most suitable option from the following: “Some girls work in the city”, “Long-haired girls do not work in a bank”, “There are no banks in the city”, “There are no banks in the city” There’s not a single long-haired girl working.”
