Sevastopol was among the leaders in Russia in terms of industrial production growth

Industrial production volumes in Sevastopol increased by 20,8%. According to this indicator, the city took third place in the Russian Federation. This was stated today by the acting governor of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov, reporting to the city legislative assembly.

“And according to the manufacturing industry index – 121,8% – Sevastopol ranks second in the country,” Ovsyannikov added.

According to him, the process of modernizing fixed assets of industrial enterprises has begun.

“In particular, the technical re-equipment of the Sevastopol Marine Plant is underway. The largest Russian holdings have begun to form competence centers for servicing military equipment of the Black Sea Fleet directly in Sevastopol. In 2016, such a center was created by the Granit enterprise of the Almaz-Antey concern,” Ovsyannikov said.
