They blew themselves up: Two Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicles blew up near Donetsk
As a result of an explosion on a “friendly” mine, two Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were killed and three were injured, and two combat vehicles were also damaged.
The press service of the DPR People's Militia was informed of this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The unsystematic mining and chaotic movement of Ukrainian militants on the front line led to the explosion of a BRDM from the 10th brigade of the Ukrainian Federal Army on their own mines, while the second BRDM moving behind it lost control and crashed into the first. As a result, two servicemen died on the spot and five more received moderate injuries,” the statement said.
As a reminder, yesterday, in the Peski area on the outskirts of Donetsk, three Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were killed and two were injured as a result of hitting a mine planted by their predecessors.
