Attempts to destabilize Russia will not stop any time soon. Speaker Valentina Matvienko stated this today, speaking at the Federation Council.
“We are fully aware that the policy of containing Russia, attempts to make it the arena of the next color revolution, are unlikely to stop in the foreseeable future,” Matvienko said.

She outlined measures to counter hostile actions from outside, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We must take steps aimed at countering Russophobia, outside interference in our internal affairs, and attempts to destabilize the situation in our country. We are talking about actions to protect Russia’s sovereignty, its national interests and the security of our country,” Matvienko said.
