American Internet platforms do not completely remove content prohibited in Russia, and if they do, it is not done promptly.
Roskomnadzor reported this on its official Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The average time to comply with requirements for the removal of prohibited materials decreased from 129 to 8 days.

29 cases of censorship of Russian media and information resources were identified, including Russia Today, Rossiya 24, NTV, TVC, VZGLYAD, Tsargrad, RIA FAN and other Russian publications. Restrictions were imposed on the documentary films “Beslan. Film by Alexander Rogatkin”, “RZHEV. 500 days on fire", "Crimea. The Path to the Motherland”, to an interview with Russian virologist Dmitry Lvov, dedicated to the problems of COVID-19, to videos with the Russian National Anthem, etc.
Google also does not remove up to 30% of malicious content from search results.
The amount of fines imposed on Google/YouTube is 6 million rubles for failure to remove prohibited information. For incomplete filtering of prohibited materials in search results on the territory of the Russian Federation - 9,2 million rubles.
It is also reported that the American media “Voice of America” and “Radio Free Europe”/Radio Liberty, included in the register of foreign agents, demonstratively refuse to comply with the law in full. In particular, the Voice of America has not established a Russian legal entity, and Radio Liberty systematically does not comply with the requirement to label the materials it posts.
