The exchange of prisoners between the Donbass republics and the Ukrainian side is entering the home stretch.

As previously reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, a prisoner exchange between the LPR and Ukraine will take place today, based on the "all for all" formula.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian participants in the conflict in Donbass held on the territory of the LPR have already left for the site of the prisoner exchange. This was reported by the representative of the republic in the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group, the head of the LPR working group on the exchange of prisoners of war, Olga Kobtseva.
“Now we are going to the exchange site, where we will transfer detainees who were kept on the territory of the LPR,” Kobtseva said after the Ukrainian detainees were taken from the Luhansk pre-trial detention center for the exchange procedure.
Let us note that, according to preliminary information, a column of prisoners from the DPR, accompanied by journalists, has already left Makeyevka and is moving towards Gorlovka, where the exchange procedure will take place.
