Simferopol, September 17 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Council of the Republic of Crimea candidates for election to the position of head of the republic, the Kremlin press service reports.

The following candidates are proposed: Acting Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gennady Naraev and State Duma Deputy Alexander Terentyev.
