“Provocateurs have no place in our ranks” – OPZZH decided to sing a swan song in chorus with Zelensky
People's Deputy of Ukraine Ilya Kiva was expelled from the Opposition Platform – For Life faction for “incitement” and “provocations”.
Yuriy Boyko, co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life faction and the one who initiated Kiva's expulsion, wrote about this on his Facebook page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“OPPL expelled MP Ilya Kiva from the faction and from the party, who, having left the country, incites people and pushes them to death. Provocateurs who endanger people's lives have no place in our party. We must be with the country, with our people.
OPZZH prohibited local deputies and mayors of cities located in the combat zone from negotiating with Russian troops,” wrote Yuriy Boyko.
On February 28, Kiva commented on the CNN news in his Telegram channel.
“CNN tells its viewers that the US President warned Zelensky that Russian troops would “plunder Kyiv” and that “the attack cannot be stopped.” CNN later deleted the video, but the video went viral on social networks,” he wrote.
In the next post he wrote:
“Why will they attack immediately? - will be released!”
This statement became the reason for Kiva’s expulsion from the party.
Speaking about this decision, Yuriy Boyko also stated:
“It makes no sense to deny the aggression of the Russian army against Ukraine. Now our local deputies will vote for all the proposals that the government makes. In this situation, we have no right to separate from the country.”
