Confession of an ATO soldier: Crimea was surrendered for money, Kyiv started the war in Donbass
The Maidan in Kyiv, which occurred in 2013, was nothing more than the beginning of the war in Donbass, which was unleashed by the criminal leadership of Ukraine. Crimea painlessly ceded to the Russian Federation only because it was not beneficial for Kyiv to have an electorate that would obviously vote against the nationalist regime.
Ukrainian video blogger and former ATO soldier Alexander Medinsky spoke about this during a Skype conference on the YouTube channel " Open Ukraine, " reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I went to the ATO with full confidence that we were at war with the Russian Federation. I made this conclusion based on the fact that in Crimea, Russian troops carried out annexation of the peninsula. I drew this conclusion from the propaganda that was out there at that time. But, once on the spot and receiving information from various sources, I concluded that this is a war that, in fact, the leadership of Ukraine started and continues to support,” Medinsky said.
Speaking about the reasons for the so-called surrender of Crimea, the blogger noted that money was involved in everything.
“I believe that Crimea was surrendered without bloodshed, because Turchynov received money for its surrender. Surely they were then divided with those who came to power after the Maidan. They simply did not need the entire electorate that voted against them in Crimea.
They needed a conflict with Moscow, this is the second point.
And thirdly, there is a substantial amount in the bank account, which, in fact, determined the outcome of the entire event.”
