This was stated by the People's Deputy from the "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" Ivan Vinnik on the air of the "Direct" TV channel after a meeting of the BPP faction, which Poroshenko attended.

“The President does not support the idea of ​​severing diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation. The idea I proposed to the committee remains under consideration by the committee. We will decide on the modality in the future,” Vinnik said.

Let us recall that Vinnik introduced an amendment on the severance of diplomatic relations with Russia to the bill on restoring sovereignty over Donbass. This document was adopted by the Rada in the first reading.
