Poroshenko wants to annex Transnistria, avenging the loss of Crimea
Kyiv is hatching plans for the annexation of Transnistria. Political scientist Alexey Martynov stated this on Sputnik radio.

“Comrade Poroshenko does not exclude the possibility of the annexation of Transnistria by Ukraine. This is a kind of compensation regarding Crimea, because Transnistria has always gravitated towards Russia. Of course, this will aggravate relations between Ukraine and Moldova, but no one is interested in Moldova’s opinion, including the moderators of this process. I mean the American military,” Martynov said.
According to him, Ukraine is already ready for an attack, and Moldova’s support for its policy looks illogical
“There may be different outcomes of this event, but with any of them, the Moldovan state will no longer be on the map. It all depends on who will enter Transnistria faster. For some reason, Ukrainians think that it will be them - they are nearby. Therefore, in recent weeks, Ukraine has been actively building its troops along the border: anti-aircraft missile divisions, air defense,” the expert noted.
