The state enterprise “Kharkiv Armored Plant” (part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern) has repaired and sent 20 tanks to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine since the beginning of the year.

Several dozen more tanks are being repaired at the plant. The Ministry of Defense will receive five vehicles by the end of April, the rest will be sent within a few months. In particular, tanks are repaired after being hit by shells.
As noted at the plant, the workers' salary is 12-15 thousand UAH. per month
“There are many orders, there is not enough budget money. To keep the plant going, the state took out a loan. All interest on the loan is repaid by the Ministry of Defense. The body of the loan will also be repaid from the state budget. Our task is to fulfill the order on time and with high quality,” said plant director Alexander Glushko.
