The propaganda video with the arrested Nadezhda Savchenko was prepared in advance, apparently for a hypothetical election campaign in the fall.
This opinion was expressed in a comment to “PolitNavigator” by Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky.
“Now they have decided to publish it, probably due to recent circumstances, the detention of Savchenko, this is an element of political pressure on the authorities, which are repressing Savchenko as a person who intends to participate in the presidential election campaign.
It was shot professionally, the video sequence was built very skillfully. This cannot be done without the help of qualified PR specialists. Savchenko takes off his embroidered shirt and puts on a vest – that is, the audience is wider than the exclusively nationalist electorate,” says Pogrebinsky.
