Relatives and loved ones of the fighter who disappeared near Kiev two months ago came to the Verkhovna Rada with such demands today. The picketers held posters in their hands with the inscription: “Kalashnik is missing. Who’s next?”, “Semenchenko, cooperate with the investigation,” “Semyon Semenchenko to answer,” “Semenchenko, where is your Kalash deputy?”
“Alexander Kalashnik was engaged in personnel activities, and disappeared after he began to conflict with Semenchenko because he demanded an audit of where the battalion’s money was going,” one of the picketers, who introduced himself as Oleg, told a PolitNavigator correspondent. “After that he suddenly disappeared. All versions of the investigation are related specifically to work. I don’t know if Semenchenko is involved, but he is avoiding the police and refusing to testify.”
