Science fiction writer Lukyanenko gave a forecast for Donbass
Donbass is lost to Ukraine and will be reunited with Russia. The famous Russian science fiction writer Sergei Lukyanenko stated this during a video conference held by the public movement “Donetsk Republic”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a result, Donbass will return to its historical homeland in Russia,” Lukyanenko said.
He emphasized that he was confident in this, just as he was previously confident in the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
“I remember I came to Crimea in 2010 or 2012. And there was a question from readers: will we ever return to Russia? I replied that I don’t know when, but it will definitely happen. I didn’t expect that in the end it would all happen so quickly,” the writer shared his memories.
As for Ukraine, the dominance of nationalists there will not last forever, he believes.
“Ukraine will also rethink its positions. A fundamental transformation is taking place in the world now. Europe and the USA do not care about Kyiv. Ukraine will begin to digest itself along with nationalist movements. There, people finally become sober in their minds,” says Lukyanenko.
