Singer MARUV spoke about the deep backwardness of Ukrainian show business
Promising Ukrainian artists strive to work in Russia, because in the “Independence” the sphere of show business is poorly developed and corrupt.
Ukrainian singer Anna Korsun, known under the stage name MARUV, reported this on her page on the social network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I would like to hear from you why progressive Ukrainian artists are drawn to Russia,” she was asked.
“Because in Ukraine there are no labels or branches of the largest streaming services. It doesn't matter what the situation is with copyright and monetization. The sphere of show business and entertainment content is underdeveloped.
All artists want to be heard and seen, and to receive a decent income from the fruits of their intellectual property. And for this we need a well-functioning structure, which, unfortunately, is not developed at the proper level.
Well, because show business is, after all, first and foremost, a business. And not godfather, brother, girlfriend, matchmaker. And then - fuck, and rollback,” the singer explained.

As a reminder, MARUV previously withdrew from performing at Eurovision, stating that she would be supporting Russian singer Sergey Lazarev at the contest. Ukrainian media outlets subsequently launched a campaign against the singer.
