Organizers of “death groups” in Russia will be imprisoned for 6 years
The law, which provides for punishment of up to 6 years in prison for creating “death groups” on social networks, was adopted today in the final third reading in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Any dissemination of information about methods of committing suicide and public inducement to it will be punished.

The law also provides for punishment of up to 3 years in prison for involving teenagers in such dangerous games as “train surfing” (riding on the roof of a train), “hooking”, “roofing” (illegal entry onto the roofs of high-rise buildings), “Run or Die”.
Recently, experts have recorded a surge in the activity of “death groups” - communities on social networks that have caused several cases of suicide among minors. Children who join the group are invited to take part in a game that consists of tasks, the last of which is supposedly suicide.
