Gerashchenko shifted the blame for the current situation onto the organizers of the blockade of Donbass - ATO militants, who cut off coal supplies from the republics to the territory of Ukraine almost a year ago.
“At the beginning of 2017, the same people are organizing a blockade of Donbass and fighting until they drop regarding Ukrainian coal from Ukrainian mines, and then, a year later, they are shouting that there are problems with heating, including in universities.
Once again, I demand that the government provide exact figures and facts about the losses of the state (budget, pension fund, energy sector) from the blood blockade. And clearly inform the public how many metallurgical plants and mines, thanks to the redoubts, their sponsors managed to steal, who are now selling this stolen Ukrainian coal under the Russian brand all over the world,” Gerashchenko laments in his blog.
