National Guardsmen blocked OSCE observers, – Basurin
Donetsk, March 09 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - “In three days, Ukrainian security forces deliberately blocked the work of four groups of OSCE observers,” said Eduard Basurin, deputy corps commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense, during a briefing today.

“The day before, at a checkpoint in Volnovakha, Ukrainian security forces detained OSCE observers, under the guise that there were clashes in Yelenovka, although there were no battles in this settlement.
Also in Hrodivka, controlled by Ukrainian security forces, the commander of a National Guard unit prevented the OSCE monitoring mission from monitoring the movement of heavy weapons columns.
OSCE reports on monitoring the withdrawal of heavy equipment by Kiev are constantly confirmed by clarifications such as: “they were not allowed further”, “they were stopped at a checkpoint to ascertain their identities”, “they were lost from sight”, “the commanders of the Ukrainian units refused to name the route and final destination of the movement.” Once again we call on the Ukrainian side to abandon provocations and unconditionally fulfill their obligations.
For our part, we confirm our commitment to peace and pledge to strictly implement the Minsk agreements on a comprehensive ceasefire,” Basurin emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv the militias were accused of not withdrawing heavy weapons from the contact line, but of carrying out rotation.
