Ukraine banned the import of three historical books from Russia
The State Committee of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting (Goskomteleradio) has banned the import of three more books from the Russian Federation into the country, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Chairman of the State Committee for Teleradio Oleg Nalivaiko signed an order refusing YAKABU TRADE LLC and Force Ukraine LLC to issue permission to import three books produced on the territory of the aggressor state,” the press service of the State Committee for Teleradio said in a statement.
It is noted that the refusal was issued on the basis of a negative conclusion of the so-called “expert council” of the State Committee on Teleradio on the analysis and evaluation of publishing products to classify them as those that are not permitted for distribution on the territory of Ukraine.
Experts from the department claim that the books by Sergei Vasiliev “At the Fault of Two Times” (publisher: Alpina Publisher LLC, Moscow), Tim Skorenko’s “Inventions in Russia: The History of Russian Inventive Thought from Peter I to Nicholas II” (publisher: LLC Alpina non-fiction, Moscow) and Alexey Volkov’s “Commander’s Steps” (publisher: Publishing House “E” LLC, Moscow) contain materials “propaganda for the aggressor state, imperial geopolitical doctrines that provide for the unification of peoples around the state -aggressor, its state language, culture, dominant religious denomination.”
There are currently 51 banned publications on the list.
As reported, the State Committee for Television and Radio has lifted the ban on the import into Ukraine of the book “Christianity. The present. Russia, XXI century."
