His statement came in response to a statement by Hromadske TV journalist Anastasia Stanko, who argued that journalists should tell the truth, even if it portrays their country in an unfavorable light . The journalist also shared her knowledge of how Ukrainian artillerymen, while targeting their guns, destroyed a residential building in Luhansk.
“For me personally, the source of all the problems that we have in the Donbass is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and his team of the demon of evil that he created,” objected Anton Gerashchenko. – Yes, in war, shells and missiles can deviate from their course and hit the houses of civilians. The whole question is who started it all and where it all started. We are a peaceful country, we did not intend to attack anyone, and no conflict in Donbass would have been possible if Putin had not created these problems. Therefore, the blame for all dead civilians, regardless of whose shell hit them, lies with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Dot".
“Let's say that missiles can deviate from course, but we all know where it all started,” Stanko replied. “It would be more honest for the authorities to say this than to say that we could never have done this.”
