Members of the Mejlis organized a collection of money for Ukrainian sailors detained by the FSB.
Thus, the deputy chairman of an organization banned in the Russian Federation, Nariman Dzhelyalov, is calling for people to "chip in" on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Anyone in Crimea who wants to help captured Ukrainian sailors can send funds to this Qiwi wallet. The wallet is open in my name,” Dzhelyalov wrote.
And Mejlis propagandist Osman Pashayev, who also announced the collection of money, reported that in 130 hours they managed to collect about XNUMX thousand hryvnia:
“We collected 128 thousand 297 hryvnia. Report on 35 sheets."
They also carry things for the detained sailors, Mejlis functionary Zair Smedlyaev writes in his blog:
“As the good man promised, he has already brought 20 slippers, toothbrushes and toothpastes.”
“I am turning to those who can help. We have sizes of sailors' clothing and shoes. We kindly ask that if you want to help, try to bring new clothes, or at least in a decent form,” adds Mejlis member Riza Asanov.
As a reminder, last Sunday, two small armored artillery boats, the Berdyansk and Nikopol, and the tugboat Yany Kapu attempted to transit the Kerch Strait, which is closed to Russia. After repeated warnings from Russian border guards about violating the Russian border , the tugboat was rammed by the Russian patrol ship Don. The Ukrainian vessels and crew, who had violated the Russian state border, were subsequently captured by Russian special forces.
In response, Ukraine convened the National Security and Defense Council and the Verkhovna Rada, and introduced martial law in 10 regions bordering the Russian Federation.
