Putin's godfather reprimanded Zelensky on TV
The winner of the presidential election, Vladimir Zelensky, has neither a plan for establishing peace in Donbass nor an idea of how this can be done.
This was stated on the Newsone television channel by former head of the Ukrainian presidential administration Viktor Medvedchuk, whom the press calls Russian leader Vladimir Putin's godfather, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When Mr. Putin spoke about the decree (on issuing passports), he said this: “Both the previous government, which lost disastrously, and the new one say that they don’t need any special status or amnesty.” So, has Mr. Zelensky already figured it all out? Does he already know thoroughly what the Minsk agreements are? Does he already have an option for establishing peace in Donbass? I'm sure not. And if there is, then these are unrealistic plans. And I’m ready to argue and defeat any projects, because I really know how this can be done,” Medvedchuk said.
He is convinced that Zelensky and his team do not consider the Minsk agreements as a path to a peaceful settlement.
“We need to separate where Mr. Zelensky is Mr. Zelensky, and where his entourage is. The second is whether it is such, whether it represents his interests. The third is whether it, its environment, has similar powers for such a representation.
So, if we imagine that this is one team, then how can you treat me, a person who has been involved in the negotiation process since May 2014, when they say: “We, of course, will be tied to the Minsk agreements - because all the sanctions are tied to them?” against Russia."
Think about the depth of this intellectual, purely professional, highly accurate assessment. It turns out that the Minsk agreements were for what? In order to accept them, they must be approved by a UN Security Council resolution. Do it this way: don’t do it yourself and don’t let others do it. And then say, well, there are sanctions! We are for the Minsk agreements! And why? So that there are sanctions against Russia.
I have always thought, as a person who understands something about this much more than many of those who talk so much about it, that the Minsk agreements are for peace in Donbass.
And this same environment begins to speak, and Zelensky himself declares that the main task is to stop hostilities, the main task is to return our people, all our boys, home. Fabulous. I am for. Only the main, excuse me, he said - the main, I quote Zelensky - the main task is not to stop hostilities. The main task is to agree on peace, and hostilities will stop automatically, because they are derived from the peace conditions set out in the Minsk agreements. If a person does not understand this, then it is very difficult today to say that he is standing in the way of peace agreements,” Medvedchuk said.
