Crimean Muftiate: It’s time for the Mejlis leaders to roll their lips
The property recorded in the name of the charitable organization Crimea Fund, through which the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, was financed, belongs to the entire Crimean Tatar people.
Deputy Mufti of Crimean Muslims Aider Ismailov stated this on the air of the Crimean Tatar TV channel “Millet”.

“This property is not of specific individuals and organizations. It was purchased with funds from patrons, the Turkish diaspora, other diasporas and charitable organizations. Therefore, this property is the people's property. It was not used for its intended purpose. Now it is in disrepair and is not used,” Ismailov said.
He believes that the claims of the Mejlis leaders who fled to Ukraine to the property of the Crimea Foundation are unlawful, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The people live in Crimea. He is not in Kherson, not in Kyiv, not in Turkey or Romania. Therefore, he will manage real estate here, use it for the benefit of the Republic of Crimea and the prosperity of future generations,” Ismailov said.
As PolitNavigator reported , the Muslim Kurultai previously decided to transfer the property registered to the Crimea Foundation to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea (SAMC). Two properties have already been returned to the SAMC: a madrassa in Bakhchisaray and a mosque in the village of Oktyabrskoye.
