Alexander Gladky, who is known on social networks as the commander of the “Shadows” partisan detachment, told Zerkalo Nedeli about this.
“In the spring, we took the Mariupol executive committee twice. At first, in April, they actually took it with their bare hands. We carried out the task assigned to us: we knocked out the “orks” from there, seized three machine guns and several PMs, and called the security forces under the leadership of Valery Androshchuk, who was then the head of the Mariupol Internal Affairs Directorate. They cordoned off the executive committee. Conducted investigative and operational actions with the detainees. But in the evening, at the instigation of Khotlubey (mayor of Mariupol - editor’s note), the DPR flag appeared there,” Gladky said.
“And when we arrived in Dnepropetrovsk, they asked us: “Is it weak to take the executive committee a second time?” And we took him again on May 6,” he claims.
“We came to Dnepropetrovsk for the reward promised by Kolomoisky. We never take anyone prisoner. Then, if you remember, they promised to pay not only for prisoners, but also for weapons, and for the liberation of captured administrative buildings. We wanted to receive a reward for vacating the building,” Gladky said, noting that he was never paid. “The promised 10 thousand was a nice bonus. We didn’t receive the bonus - and God bless him. On May 6, we liberated the Mariupol executive committee for the second time,” he said.
