“Collective Biden” turned out to be an effective manager – political scientist
In a short period of time, the United States was able to restore control over the European Union, lost during the era of President Donald Trump, from which the American military-industrial complex and energy companies benefit.
This opinion was voiced during the industrial and energy forum by political scientist and political strategist Evgeniy Minchenko, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The most effective foreign policy strategy is demonstrated by the United States. The question is whether we like her or not, but on the whole, the collective Biden, whom we tend to laugh at, turned out to be quite effective.
In just a few years, they regained control over the European Union, which, in general, was deliberately lost during the Trump era. They mobilized a significant network of their satellites. And in this sense, I think that if we talk about the interests of: a) the USA; b) specific business groups that become beneficiaries of this, then, in general, Biden is effective.
Moreover, an interesting point, note which groups were named as beneficiaries. Energy is traditionally a Republican donor. Let’s add the military-industrial complex, again traditional Republican donors, and suddenly it turns out that these industries are starting to benefit from Biden’s policies,” Minchenko said.
At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the dominant countries in the EU also benefit, despite the fact that they openly “fell under the United States”
“If we take the European Union, I think that the collective European bureaucracy, again, in my opinion, is quite effective, based on their selfish interests. Yes, they fell under the States. But this gives them the opportunity within the European Union to crush the selfishness of individual countries and dominate them,” says the political scientist.
