“If in the future there is a military challenge for Russia and China in Central Asia, we would like to hear arguments not only from Russia, but also from the country to which it is proposed to send a military mission. This country should have the first right to express its opinion,” Fu Ying said.
She called the US military campaign in Iraq a mistake.
“Why would China step on the same rake, risk the lives of its soldiers and ruin the lives of civilians? China will continue to move on the right path. When China began reforms in 1978, per capita income was 200 dollars, now it is 8 thousand. Why should China abandon the peaceful path? The global community, led by China's example, can achieve a better future,” said Fu Ying.
