Simferopol, March 03 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Kerch shipyard “Zaliv” may be involved in the construction of a bridge connecting Crimea and mainland Russia.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin announced this on Saturday at a meeting on the development of the Crimean defense industry in Simferopol.
“We are interested in the Kerch Zaliv plant from the point of view of infrastructure, logistics, and the creation of the future Kerch crossing. It is necessary today to discuss how to use it not only in the interests of building and repairing ships, but also in the interests of the speedy construction of a bridge between Crimea and the main body of the Russian Federation,” the official noted.
Let us remind you that the contractor for the construction of a 19-kilometer transport crossing in the Kerch Strait is Arkady Rotenberg’s company “Stroygazmontazh”.
