On Friday evening in Donetsk, the main Christmas tree of the Republic was lit on Lenin Square. On the occasion of this event, mass celebrations took place in the center of the capital of the DPR.

Residents of not only Donetsk, but also many other cities and villages of the Republic gathered to watch the New Year’s beauty shine for the first time.
