This was reported by the Donbass News publication with reference to Ivan Prikhodko, deputy chairman of the Voroshilovsky district council in the city of Donetsk.

According to Prikhodko, the channel has been stopped. There are deaths among the employees of the “Water of Donbass” company. “Donetsgorvodokanal” is going into saving mode.

As Navigator reported, due to artillery shelling, water shortages began in the Donbass from the beginning of June: the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal did not fulfill its functions of providing water to populated areas. During attempts to repair hydraulic structures located in the combat zone, several employees of the water supply company were killed. At the end of June, the work of the canal was resumed and the water saving regime was canceled.
