Doctor Komarovsky is being shamed: He supported Maidan, but now he’s crying
The head of the Union of Political Emigrants of Ukraine, Larisa Shesler, published an appeal to the famous TV presenter, Dr. Yevgeny Komarovsky, in which she called on him to repent for supporting the Maidan.
The reason for Shesler’s appeal was Komarovsky’s recent speech, where he complained about the critical situation in Ukrainian medicine that developed 3 years after the victory of Euromaidan.

“He was for the Maidan, which “stood against violence”... And now it is not the Maidan that is to blame, but some bad deputies who do not want to consider health care reforms. But if they had examined them, then, miraculously, doctors would appear in the hospital, patients would have money for medicine, the production of vaccines against rabies and diphtheria would resume, and so on.
People like the wonderful Doctor Komarovsky, with their pure hands, drove Ukraine into a feudal-tribal form of existence, under their hooting they destroyed the country, under their cries about a “post-industrial economy” they killed high-tech sectors of the economy... and now these idiots look at the result of their efforts in confusion.
Who told you that in a country that today lags behind many African countries, healthcare can be maintained at all? Look at African villages where kind European volunteers teach the natives how to sterilize drinking water in the sun by pouring it into plastic bottles. It doesn’t occur to anyone to bother with vaccines against measles and diphtheria; children simply die from intestinal infections and malaria.
Why is there no problem with vaccines and oncology drugs in poor Cuba, where there are no shining palaces and limousines outside shopping centers?
Why did the population almost triple in poor Tajikistan in the 60-80s?
Because in a poor but developing state, healthcare is also developing. The standards for polyclinic services, medical examinations, sanitary standards, disease prevention, and the system of maternity hospitals and dispensaries introduced in the USSR for a long time made it possible to mask the degradation of Ukrainian medicine, which was dying in parallel with the degradation of the economy.
But now the end of all internal reserves has come. Ukraine, with the help of stupid “Doctors Komarovskys,” has been driven into a tribalist era, where military detachments of uneducated Tonton Macoutes run around the country, protecting their masters.
Doctor Komarovsky! Congratulations! Ukraine has caught up with Somalia in freedom of speech and freedom from state violence in the form of police officers. Why don't you like the result? Go and study the experience of insurance medicine and infection prevention in Namibia and Congo.
