Tsarev: We will return to the Kyiv region
A resident of Borodyanka, Kyiv region, which was under the control of the Russian army until the beginning of April, claims that he tried to poison the military with rat poison.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , a video of his confession has spread across Ukrainian social media.
“With my own brains, I came to the point of preparing poisoned cheese with rat poison and treating it to the Chechens. I prepared it, but I don’t know how he acted there. This came to me. I poisoned rats, and I had rat poison. And I prepared it,” says a local resident.
The veracity of his words is doubted by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev, who, together with the Russian military, was in the Kyiv region at that time.
“Firstly, how many times I distributed humanitarian aid, but never received it from the locals. They always only distributed food to the locals, and did not receive it from them. They didn’t take anything from the humanitarian aid. Even when we didn’t have enough ourselves. Secondly, if someone was poisoned, I would know for sure. But there were no such cases. Arsenic poisoning has very different symptoms from regular food poisoning.
Thirdly, Borodyanka is small. If one of our people were poisoned, believe me, we would very quickly find the culprit. Fourthly. Look at this homeless man. He simply tells his fantasies in order to falsely “play a hero.” You have to rely on very stupid viewers to use this in propaganda. Fifthly, when we return to Borodyanka, nothing will happen to this grandfather.
Because we don’t fight people like this grandfather. But there will be questions for representatives of the Ukrainian media,” Tsarev writes in his blog.
