Information campaigns launched almost simultaneously in Kyiv on the “days of mourning” about those killed in the Euromaidan and the “fourth anniversary of the fight against the occupation of Crimea” are an attempt by the authorities to distract the population from the awareness of the final degradation and collapse of Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by the famous military correspondent Andrei Babitsky.

“Against the backdrop of recently revealed information, I mean interviews with Georgian participants in the events, about who organized all this and led the executions, all this looks extremely terrible. It seems to me that there is no doubt that the Maidan leadership itself put people under the knife in order to provoke and develop the conflict even further to the point of no return.

In general, it seems to me that the current Kiev government is for the most part a “showcase” government. In fact, she does not lead the country. The country continues to exist in free fall. And in order to plug these huge bureaucratic gaping holes in the management system, a colossal number of similar events are being held - Nazi, neo-Nazi, all sorts of marches, half-Maidans, quarter-Maidans and so on.

In fact, the country is slowly ceasing to exist. All that remains on the surface are these “soap bubbles” with all sorts of colored banners, slogans, and false grief. They give some idea of the existence of a quasi-state.

There is no need to take this kind of event seriously. We must remember that thanks to the Georgians who spoke again, it became clear that those who now lead the country are directly related to the death of those people whose death anniversary they are now going to celebrate.

So we can say that in this “House of Oblonsky everything was mixed up”: blood, gas, weakness, the strength of the Nazi units and the SBU. It seems to me that this whole cart is hobbling along, but I can say that it doesn’t have much time left,” the military correspondent concluded.
