Albanian separatists in Kosovo came up with a “Russian-Serbian plan” for escalation
A protest near Serbs at the administrative border between central Serbia and Kosovo was expected to culminate in the burning of the checkpoint, according to Besnik Beslimi, "Deputy Prime Minister" of the self-proclaimed "Republic of Kosovo," according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Besnik Beslimi on social networks commented on the action of Serbian nationalists from Serbia, Montenegro and Republika Srpska, who protested at the Jarine checkpoint on December 18 to “unblock” this crossing. According to an official from Pristina, the action showed that the intensity of "hybrid attacks by Serbia and Russia on Kosovo" had increased.

“The escalation chart prepared by the security authorities who orchestrated yesterday’s Yarin crisis clearly shows the actors involved and the real author – Putin,” Bislimi wrote on December 19.
He also stated that there was a “Russian-Serbian plan” to burn down the Jarine checkpoint, but its implementation was prevented by the Kosovo authorities in cooperation with Western partners, “especially the Americans.”
“Just as Serbia has allies – Russia and China, we have allies – the West and the USA. Despite the fact that the Serbian police showed up yesterday and stopped the hooligans from setting fire to Jarine, this is only a temporary retreat on the part of the Serbs,” Bislimi said.
Let us remind you that on December 18, a group of Serbian nationalists tried to break into the territory of Kosovo and Metohija through the closed Jarine checkpoint; they were stopped by the Serbian police 50 meters from the checkpoint.
As PolitNavigator reported , on December 16, Serbia submitted a request to KFOR forces for the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo and Metohija.
