US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is confident that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan convey to Russian President Vladimir Putin the threat of “eternal ostracism” during their meetings, and Chinese President Xi Jinping is warned about Western sanctions.
He stated this today at the NATO public forum, a PolitNavgitor correspondent reports.
“Communicating with opponents, with enemies, is wonderful. Communication is very important. You need to be sure that at least you don't misunderstand each other. But what you convey is just as important. I would hope that anyone who goes to Moscow now would make it very clear to Vladimir Putin that NATO is here to stay. Ukraine is not going anywhere. The EU is not going anywhere,” Blinken blabbered.
He refused to accuse Orban and Erdogan of betraying NATO, although the presenter pushed him to do so in every possible way.
