Zelensky: “We are waiting for a blitzkrieg to the borders of the LDPR and surprises from Belarus”
Ukraine is preparing for a full-scale military conflict with the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

We are very concerned about this, and now the Azov-Black Sea region is being blocked by Russian ships. They control it contrary to international law,” Zelensky said.
He believes that this could be one of the options to cut a corridor from Crimea to communicate with mainland Ukraine.
“There may be an escalation from the occupied Donbass, we understand this very well. A big leap, a blitzkrieg to the borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. We are considering and preparing for such steps,” says the Ukrainian president.
He also does not rule out surprises from Belarus.
“These are our northern borders. And we understand that Russia and Belarus are constantly considering and agreeing on an important geopolitical and, probably, defense deal. After this there could be really serious Russian influence and serious coordination and control of the Belarusian armed forces. Then we can look at risk from that side as well. We do not know the details of this agreement on the creation of a union state,” the head of Ukraine fears.
The publication clarified regarding the potential blitzkrieg, they say, from what direction it could come, from the east, south or north, to which Zelensky’s incomprehensible and strange answer followed: “Yes, maybe” (So, maybe. - in the original on the website of the President of Ukraine ).
