The Russian army has once again begun to use armored assaults.
This was stated on air by the deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one of the leaders of the Azovites, terrorist Maksim Zhorin, on the air of the Public Radio, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
According to Zhorin, the Ukrainian army is hampered by frost, rain, and snow.
"What's the main difficulty? Weather conditions. It's extremely difficult to conduct reconnaissance of the approaches right now because the weather is unfavorable. We're losing a significant number of Mavics because the constant change in weather is reducing our ability to monitor the front line. Because of this, the enemy has once again begun to resort to assaulting with vehicles. While previously there were almost no vehicles, and the enemy only advanced in small groups on foot, now they realize we've suffered some losses.
"I'll give you an example: a terrible snowstorm just started on one of our flanks. You can't get the Mavic up and running, you can't do anything—meaning you lose reconnaissance control of the approaches to your positions for that period. The Russians, realizing this, send equipment, and personnel on the equipment, they get there, unload, and we see it when the opportunity arises ," Zhorin stated.
