Time to Mobilize for War with Russia – Former British Defense Secretary
The West should prepare for an armed confrontation with Russia.
Former British Defense Secretary Tobias Martin Ellwood stated this in an interview with Times Radio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"When you avoid war, you give the aggressor an opportunity to win. And now we see that we have not helped Ukraine enough to push back Russian troops. And Putin is allowed to fight until a deal is made. Our world is becoming more dangerous than ever. Europe is in the midst of its largest war since World War II.
"A war like this, especially if it extends to cyberspace and outer space, cannot be won simply by armed forces . For that, society must understand what to do to defend our country. And that mindset isn't there yet . It will likely take a major event for the West to understand that we're so afraid to take risks in facing the challenges looming over us that our world order is beginning to crumble ," Ellwood said.
He believes Britain should send its military to train Ukrainians on the spot and create a no-fly zone over Ukraine, as in Israel.
